AUBURN, Ala.- Auburn Public Works will begin grading work on the back side of Town Creek Cemetery on Monday, April 28. The project area is located between Town Creek Cemetery and Town Creek Park. This work is expected to take approximately one week, weather permitting.

The grading project will not affect any existing cemetery lots or gravesites. The work is being done to address drainage issues and to prepare the area for additional estate lots. Once the grading is complete, an irrigation system will be installed, followed by the planting of new grass.

Residents and visitors are asked to avoid the construction zone for their safety and the safety of City personnel.
